Parents, adults and teens wonder if it's worth the time and money to get a higher education.  Those without a

college education get jobs and put in time and hard work to advance.

We can work to earn enough to live on – and just get by

We’d prefer to earn enough to live for – and have meaning in our jobs and be flexible to change jobs

Some say that today we need a college degree like we used to need a high school diploma in years past

Today, 9 of today's Top 10 USA jobs require a college education.  Even if you won't get a 4-year college education

or don't want a top job, more people need more education and training after high school for today and tomorrow's jobs.

In 2007, $82.2 billion and in 2009, 120 billion was available for student aid for student higher education

75 - 80% of money to help students goes to students going to school after high school

20% of money available to help students can be used in high school

Most money for after high school schooling goes to freshmen starting college just after high school

The more education you get the better chance you have to increase your income in the USA (depends on what

company you work for, what part of the country you work in, the skills you have and personal responsibility you have)

*There is some disagreement about how much more we can earn with different types of schooling.  Not all will earn at

these levels with these degrees, training and schooling.  With more higher education, most people will earn a lot more

than those without a higher education, stay employed for shorter periods of time and get re-employed sooner.

How much any person earned depends on many things: where you live, company you work for, health of the economy,

years on the job, years in the field, experiences, other higher eduation training/certifications, type of job you have, etc.)

College degree leads to higher future income – Project America: Money Earned by Highest Degreee Earned

BA Degrees earn 80 - 125% more than High School Diploma – $800,000 – 1.3 million more in a lifetime

AA Degrees earn about 65% more than a High School Diploma – $650,000+ more in a lifetime

Since 1980, the average income of those with a BA college education has more than doubled the income of those

with a High School diploma – even when everyone’s income has gone up

Recent Study (2007) found that 3 years of working after completing a 1-3 year Community College degree, the income

of many students rose 85% more than they were making before.  Before they finished school with a degree,

they were making about $25,000. 3 years after they got a 2 year degree, on average they made about $45,000.

National Graduation Rates of those who started various degrees

27% graduated with an AA degree  -  63% don''t graduate with a degree (at least not on time)

          43% graduated with a BA Degree   -  57% don''t graduate with a degree

          60% graduated with a MA Degree   -  40% don''t graduate with a degree

Many don't finish their degree in a reasonable time since they can't handle the study load for their degree

Most did not learn good Study Skills or have a good Study System to get the degree, license, certificate

Average Debt of those who graduate with Higher Education Degree - $14,000 - $26,300

Certain professions as Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, Medical Professionals, etc. have greater debt

(most students get financial aid, grants, scholarships, work study or have a job while going to school – this keeps their

debt lower – education today is expensive)

SLS Study System can help more students handle higher education study load, classes and work so they can get the

Degree, Certificate, License, Certification they need to succeed in Tomorrow's world quicker, better prepared and wiith

more opportunities for his or her career

         What affects Income:

         1) Skills, Abilities, Talent

         2) Trainning, Education, Experience

         3) Country or area of a country you work in (what the economic health of the area is)

         4) Industry you work in, company or business you work for, your posititon in the company, type of job you have, how

much this company is willing to pay you for your type of work you do

         5) Your motivation, drive, ambition, office politics, connections you have, your ability to sell yourself,

         6) Value the company puts on you, your talents, skills, abilities to add value to the company to make money and reach

its goals now or in the future, what you've done for the company that they value, their belief in you

If you learn the skills you need to Succeed, you have a bettter chance for Success

SLS teaches you many of these skills and gives you many tools for your Success

*Recent Research finds that those with a higher education earn a higher income on average and are healthier than those

without that higher education (completed).  Smarter does not make you a better person but getting higher education

degrees, licenses, certificates, certifications, etc. gives you more opportunities to get different types of jobs/careers.

Having a higher education may encourage you to do research and read more about issues dealing with your health,

finances, keeping healthy, medical issues, associating with others who do some of the same things.
